The South Central Railway (SCR) announced the introduction
of 12 new trains on Saturday during the release of the revised southern zone
time-table that would come into effect from July 1.
The bi-weekly trains to be introduced later include Kacheguda-Mangalore, Kakinada-Mumbai, Guntur-Shirdi and Guntur-Mumbai trains.
Weekly trains to Puducherry and between Nizamabad-Mumbai,
Nanded-Nangaldam and Gandhidham-Visakhapatnam are also set to start soon.
The new time-table also marked changes in the frequency of eight trains, It was also announced that the terminals of Hyderabad-Bidar Express and Belampalli-Hyderabad Express have been changed from Hyderabad to Secunderabad.
