New rail hub in Bangalore city
To a question, Mr. Kharge said the Yelahanka Railway Station
would be urbanized as a third railway hub in Bangalore city. The two railway hubs in the
city — Bangalore City and Yeshwantpur — had reached a saturation point and
introducing new trains to Bangalore city had become a main trouble due to the
non-availability of platforms. Developing the Yelahanka station as the third
hub would assist overcome the problem, he added.

Humanabad, Chikmagalur and Kadur, and Raichur and Gadhwal (in Andhra Pradesh), Reservation

TWO NEW TRAINS FROM VISAKHAPATNAM no 22869, no 22801
Weekly super fast trains towards Chennai Central & Sai
Nagar Shirdi from Visakhapatnam
w.e.f. from 15th December 2012.
On the inaugural run, i.e. on 15th December 2012 Visakhapatnam-Chennai Central and Visakhapatnam-Sai Nagar Shirdi weekly super fast trains will be inaugurated from Visakhapatnam Station and will run as special trains on open fast timings. However, the regular service of Visakhapatnam-Chennai Central weekly super fast express will commence from 17th December and Visakhapatnam-Sai Nagar Shirdi weekly super fast trains will commence from 20th December 2012.
22869 Visakhapatnam-Chennai Central weekly Super Fast Express will leave Visakhapatnam at 19.20hrs on every Monday w.e.f. 17th December 2012 and will arrive at Chennai Central at 08.55hrs on the next days. In the return direction, 22870 Chennai Central-Visakhapatnam weekly Super Fast Express will leave Chennai Central at 21.10hrs on every Tuesday w.e.f. 18th December 2012 and will arrive at Visakhapatnam at 10.25hrs on every Wednesday.
This train stoppages at Duvvada, Ankapalli, Narasingapalli, Tuni, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijaywada, ongole, Nellore and Guddur between Visakhapatnam and Chennai Central.
Similarly, 22801 Visakhapatnam-Sai Nagar Shirdi weekly Super Fast Express will leave Visakhapatnam at 09.10hrs on every Thursday w.e.f. 20th December 2012 and will arrive at Sai Nagar Shirdi at 12.55hrs on the next days. In the return direction, 22802 Sai Nagar Shirdi-Visakhapatnam weekly Super Fast Express will leave Sai Nagar Shirdi at 19.10hrs on every Friday w.e.f. 21st December 2012 and will arrive at Visakhapatnam at 22.20hrs on every Saturday.
This train having stoppages at Duvvada, Ankapalli, Elamanchili, Tuni, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijaywada, Khammam, Warangal, Kazipet, Secunderabad, Kamareddi, Nizamabad, Nanded, Purna, Parbhani, Jalna, Aurangabad, Nagarsol, Manmad, Kopargaon, and Puntamba Visakhapatnam and Sai Nagar Shirdi.
