There is partial increase in catering tariffs brought about
by the Railways last week, non-vegetarian meals will now cost Rs. 50 per person (priced Rs. 35
earlier), while vegetarian meals will cost Rs. 45,
as against the earlier price of Rs. 30.
The rate of the ‘janata meal’ has been revised from Rs. 10 to Rs. 15, while tea and coffee will now cost Rs. 3 and Rs. 7 (earlier priced at Rs. 3 and Rs. 5 respectively).
